Aims
To cultivate a “WE CARE Culture” focused on collaboration, kindness, trust, and mutual respect among staff.
Background
Staff hesitated to challenge authority or speak up about unsafe conditions, affecting patient and staff satisfaction.
Methods
Conducted focus group meetings and implemented a three-phase training program: e-learning, workshops, and WE CARE energizers.
Results
Improved safety culture, reduced falls and medication errors, zero catheter-associated UTIs in key months, and higher patient and staff satisfaction rates.
Conclusion
WE CARE Culture aligns with organizational goals for safety and service excellence.
Lessons Learnt
Staff empowerment and mutual respect significantly improve safety and patient experience.
