Aims
To automate the end-to-end report generation and dissemination process for Individual Clinician Reports (ICRs).
Background
SGH aimed to reduce practice variability and improve clinical outcomes by providing clinicians with performance benchmarking data.
Methods
Used RPA and UiPath to automate the ICR generation and distribution process, with phases for feasibility testing, stress testing, and scalability.
Results
Achieved 10x time savings per report, saving $10,100 annually; disseminated 254 ICRs for 151 clinicians across 11 conditions in one year.
Conclusion
The RPA solution demonstrated significant efficiency gains and scalability for value-based healthcare reporting.
Lessons Learnt
Robust automation reduces workload and enhances scalability for expanding VBHC initiatives.
