Manual visitor tracking methods led to inefficiencies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods
Enhanced AVMS to include SMS reminders and real-time tracking of visitor duration.
Results
Reduced visitors staying beyond 30 minutes from 79% to 25%; saved $16,632/month in manpower costs.
Conclusion
Improved AVMS streamlined operations and ensured compliance with MOH guidelines during COVID-19.
Lessons Learnt
Future systems should be designed with pandemic-readiness in mind.
