Background
Increasing test load by 5% annually made the existing setup unsustainable.
Methods
Implemented Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), automated processes, and new technologies.
Results
Expanded on-site test repertoire from 30% to 95%, reduced errors, improved turnaround time, and upskilled staff.
Conclusion
Transforming laboratory processes enhanced productivity, maintained quality, and improved turnaround times.
Lessons Learnt
Adoption of technology reduces reliance on manpower, improving quality and efficiency.
