Manual processes were time-consuming and prone to inefficiencies in handling linen supplies for SGH wards and facilities.
Methods
Enhanced eLinen Management System with user-friendly interfaces; added tablets for real-time data entry.
Results
Reduced man-hours to 0.36 hours/day/trolley; achieved annual manpower savings of $20,464.69 and improved operational efficiency.
Conclusion
Improved efficiency and cost savings with sustainable digital solutions for linen management processes.
Lessons Learnt
Ground staff involvement and stakeholder collaboration were crucial for effective digital transformation.
