Aims

Background
ED challenges included time-consuming patient interactions, lack of resources for patient education, and staff being diverted from clinical tasks.
Methods
Piloted TEMI for video calls, patient education, and patient escorting over four weeks with surveys and PDSA cycles.
Results
Positive feedback led to plans to purchase a TEMI robot for video calls; patient education videos were shifted to QR codes for scalability.
Conclusion
TEMI improved efficiency and patient experience for selected tasks, but further adaptations are needed for widespread applicability.
Lessons Learnt
Technology integration requires balancing automation with human intervention, timing introduction strategically, and effective change management.
