Methods
Needs assessment, recruitment, training, and activation of Para Care Volunteers for rapid deployment.
Results
Volunteer deployment boosted staff morale, supported seniors’ cognitive health, and eased next-of-kin concerns.
Conclusion
The initiative successfully enhanced care delivery while expanding the informal care workforce.
Lessons Learnt
Volunteers provided critical support, bridging care gaps and offering sustainable workforce solutions.
