Aims

Background
Misconceptions about TKR recovery prolonged hospital stays unnecessarily.
Methods
Implemented RAPT assessments, prehabilitation, fast-track referrals, and a standardized TKR pathway.
Results
Reduced median post-op LOS from 5.9 days to 3.8 days (P=0.001); maintained low readmission rates.
Conclusion
The project significantly reduced LOS and supported broader adoption of value-driven care across orthopedics.
Lessons Learnt
Standardized pathways and pre-hab improve recovery efficiency while ensuring patient safety.
