Background
NICU environments and stressors hinder parental engagement and developmental care for preterm infants.
Methods
Implemented developmental care bundles, parental education, and consistent monitoring.
Results
Increased parental involvement to 80% in various domains, reduced high-dependency unit stays by 7 days, and earlier achievement of full feeds by 7 days.
Conclusion
Developmental care models significantly enhance patient and family outcomes.
Lessons Learnt
Early and targeted education improves neurodevelopmental outcomes and reduces hospital stay for premature infants.
