Aims

Increased patient load during COVID-19 heightened nurse burnout levels, necessitating focused interventions.
Methods
Conducted a cross-sectional study of 52 nurses using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and PES-NWI surveys.
Results
34.6% of nurses experienced high emotional exhaustion; key burnout contributors identified as staffing and resource adequacy.
Conclusion
Highlighted the need for systemic interventions, including better staffing and leadership development programs.
Lessons Learnt
A multidisciplinary approach and enhanced leadership can mitigate burnout effectively.
