Aims
Reduce incidents of ICs being left behind at kiosks and minimize inaccurate visitor name capturing.
Background
Visitors often forgot their ICs at kiosks or had their details incorrectly captured, hindering contact tracing.
Methods
Piloted slanted acrylic plates with IC illustrations to prompt visitors to remove their ICs. PDSA cycle used to test changes.
Results
Zero cases of ICs left behind at kiosks. Accurate visitor name capture improved to 9 out of 10 cases.
Conclusion
Enhancements to the kiosks reduced errors and improved visitor registration efficiency.
Lessons Learnt
Simple, intuitive solutions like slanted acrylic plates can produce significant improvements with minimal costs.
