The NHGD Mammobus is Singapore’s first mobile digital mammogram screening service under the Screen For Life program. It provides accessible breast screening services across community and workplace settings.
Methods
Implemented Microsoft Teams for centralized project tracking and streamlined communication. Introduced an automated billing system for efficiency.
Results
Billing process steps reduced by 40%, saving 550 minutes per month. Project tracking steps reduced by 67%, saving 850 minutes per month. Improved staff engagement and reduced workplace stress.
Conclusion
The new workflow model has improved productivity and will be expanded to Mobile X-ray and Mobile BMD services by May 2024.
Lessons Learnt
Stakeholder involvement in process redesign enhances long-term effectiveness. IT tools such as Teams and automation improve efficiency and staff satisfaction.
