About this Content
Aims
Reduce man-hours required to record storage temperature of Investigational Products (IPs).
Background
Recording IP storage temperature daily using multiple thermometers and logs was redundant and time-consuming.
Methods
Implemented one shared thermometer and a revised single log; optimized workflow with stakeholder buy-in.
Results
Total recording time reduced by 88.1% (from 4.16 hours to 29.72 minutes); eliminated thermometer redundancies.
Conclusion
Simplified processes and optimized resources improved IP management, saving significant time.
Lessons Learnt
Streamlining with standardized tools reduces workload, improves efficiency, and ensures sustainability.
