Aims
Implement a solution to streamline pharmacists’ medication counselling process while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Background
Manual phone counselling resulted in multiple call attempts, disrupted workflows, and increased exposure to COVID-19 risks.
Methods
Deployed TEMI robots to enable virtual face-to-face counselling, reducing patient-related barriers and call attempts.
Results
Reduced patient cases needing multiple contact attempts by 96.7% (30% to 1%); saved 6 man-hours/month; projected annual savings of $6,321.
Conclusion
TEMI robot successfully enhanced medication counselling efficiency and reduced occupational risks.
Lessons Learnt
Ensuring TEMI navigation stability and managing connectivity issues are critical; detailed training and guides enable sustainability.

Model scaled for other wards; recognized for innovation during COVID-19 pandemic.
