Aims
Streamline day surgery (DS) registrations in SOC by consolidating into a single system (OAS).
Background
Manual processes across SAP and OAS systems were inefficient and time-consuming for staff.
Methods
Conducted Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycles and implemented UAT for OAS enhancements.
Results
Saved 108 hrs/month, reduced BO folder usage by 690/month, and improved PSA efficiency by consolidating workflows.
Conclusion
Streamlined workflow enhanced registration processes and reduced workload significantly.
Lessons Learnt
Consolidated systems improve productivity and reduce resource dependency in healthcare settings.
