About this Content
Aims
Ensure consistency and standardisation of documentation for Eye Intravitreal Injections.
Background
IVT injections are common for various eye conditions, but documentation was inconsistent, stored in different formats across NGEMR.
Methods
Educated doctors on standardised formats, integrated documentation workflow into NGEMR, and added reminders at the end of procedures.
Results
IVT documentation is now standardised and consistently stored in NGEMR, improving consultation efficiency and patient safety.
Conclusion
The initiative successfully streamlined documentation, improving accessibility and efficiency. Future efforts will focus on maintaining compliance and expanding to other ophthalmic procedures.
Lessons Learnt
Standardisation improves clinical workflow and patient care. Continuous audits and automation of documentation can further enhance efficiency.
