About this Content
Aims
Evaluate accuracy and safety of O-arm-based 3D navigation for cervical pedicle screw (CPS) insertion.
Background
CPS fixation offers biomechanical advantages but risks neurovascular injuries; 3D navigation aids in precision.
Methods
Retrospective study of 297 CPS insertions using Gertzbein classification for accuracy assessment.
Results
77.1% accuracy with no pedicle breach; no neurovascular injuries; C5 had the highest breach rate.
Conclusion
O-arm-based 3D navigation enhances safety and accuracy in spine surgeries.
Lessons Learnt
Effective data management and refining navigation protocols improve surgical outcomes.
