About this Content
Aims
To compare SOPI with PPI for managing mechanical foot pain in SCF patients.
Background
SCF patients frequently suffer from mechanical foot pain with limited treatment consensus.
Methods
Randomized controlled trial involving 29 SCF patients, SOPI designed with specific in-office optimizations.
Results
SOPI significantly outperformed PPI in Foot Function Index (FFI) scores after 3 months, improving pain and disability outcomes.
Conclusion
SOPI is an effective intervention for managing mechanical foot pain in SCF patients.
Lessons Learnt
SOPI is affordable and accessible, making it feasible for replication and application in clinical practice.
