Aims
Adopt RFID technology to track and locate residents for safety and care enhancement.
Background
Residents (especially with dementia) were at risk of wandering off unnoticed.
Methods
Implemented RFID tags, readers, and monitoring systems; scaled from 3 to all 11 floors.
Results
Reduced time to locate residents from 2 hours to 10 minutes; improved monitoring and productivity.
Conclusion
Scaled solution to other facilities; digitized attendance tracking and asset management.
Lessons Learnt
Emphasized embracing technology to address manpower challenges and enhance care.
