Aims
To appreciate Allied Health (AH) staff for their contributions and dedication, especially during the pandemic.
Background
Physical gatherings were not feasible during the pandemic, highlighting the need for a virtual alternative.
Methods
Organized a virtual Allied Health Day with interactive events, a fitness challenge, photo booths, and awards.
Results
High engagement with photos, messages, and submissions; 91 photos captured, over 400 messages of appreciation shared.
Conclusion
Virtual events are engaging and should be considered as viable alternatives for future staff recognition efforts.
Lessons Learnt
Virtual celebrations can effectively recognize and motivate staff while maintaining engagement during restrictions.
