To equip SHP staff with knowledge of MSW services and improve integrated care through gamified learning.
Background
Limited understanding of MSW services among SHP staff affected patient care and referrals.
Methods
Developed and piloted a board game simulating patient journeys, with pre- and post-game evaluations.
Results
Increased staff knowledge of MSW services (financial/non-financial) by over 30% and improved confidence in referring patients to MSW.
Conclusion
The board game is a sustainable, engaging tool for staff training and interprofessional education.
Lessons Learnt
Gamification effectively enhances learning and motivation among healthcare professionals.
