Aims

Background
ICU physiotherapy is an advanced area not covered in undergraduate curricula, leading to anxiety among newly assigned physiotherapists.
Methods
Implemented simulation training with ICU equipment, real patient exposure, and training materials for staff.
Results
Confidence improved from 1.8 to 3.5, and knowledge improved from 1.9 to 3.3 (on a 5-point scale).
Conclusion
Simulated training and feedback resulted in increased confidence and competence in handling ICU patients.
Lessons Learnt
Simulation and real patient exposure effectively boost staff confidence; ongoing support and education are crucial.
