Implemented deposit collection, standard scripts, and workflow updates for high referral areas.
Results
No-show rate reduced by 51% (from 9.1% to 4.3%); average utilisation rate improved from 80.6% to 89.2%.
Conclusion
Deposit collection improved patient commitment and optimised resource utilisation in the Sleep Lab.
Lessons Learnt
Getting stakeholder buy-in and aligning communication at all patient touchpoints is critical.
