Reduced transfusion rates, achieved 98.4% compliance for TKR, 89.4% for THR, and 100% for Spinal Fusion; savings amounted to significant healthcare costs.
Conclusion
Improved transfusion rates reduced complications and enhanced recovery outcomes.
Lessons Learnt
Early stakeholder engagement and standardized protocols are essential for sustainable improvement.
