Long waiting times increase patient anxiety and inefficiency in clinic workflow.
Methods
Streamlined processes, such as issuing urine bottles at registration, attaching memos to expedite lab tests, and initiating home post-instillation (HPI).
Results
Reduced waiting time by 77%, saving 120 minutes per patient per session; improved patient satisfaction and staff efficiency.
Conclusion
Reduced waiting times enhanced patient compliance and clinical outcomes; scalable for other clinics providing BCG therapy.
Lessons Learnt
Workflow redesign and stakeholder collaboration significantly improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
