Developed and implemented patient instructional leaflets in four languages to guide preparation for blood tests.
Results
Repeat investigations dropped to 0% from March 2019 to September 2019.
Conclusion
Workflow changes improved efficiency, reduced rework, and enhanced patient satisfaction.
Lessons Learnt
Collaboration across healthcare professionals and use of instructional tools were key to success.
