Methods
Piloted bedside handovers with caregiver engagement, applied PDSA, and conducted staff training.
Results
Recommendation rate increased by 21% (53% to 74%); call bell activation decreased by 21%.
Conclusion
Bedside handovers improved care continuity, communication, and trust between caregivers and nurses.
Lessons Learnt
Engaging stakeholders, particularly staff and caregivers, is crucial for overcoming change resistance.
