Aims
Enhance operational readiness of Hospital Decontamination Station (HDS) teams during Civil Emergency (CE) scenarios.
Background
Previous HDS Coordination Centre lacked capacity and operational efficiency to manage an increased number of HDS teams during CE events.
Methods
Reorganized the HDS Coordination Centre (HCC) into three locations with dual functionality and streamlined logistics.
Results
Reduced setup time by 23 minutes; improved satisfaction among HDS members, with 100% rating the new system as excellent.
Conclusion
The reorganization ensures efficient HDS deployment and better preparedness for emergencies.
Lessons Learnt
Space optimization and clear workflows significantly enhance operational readiness and team satisfaction.
