Provide consolidated care, increase staff efficiency and capacity, and ensure cost-effectiveness and sustainability of home care programs.
Background
Fragmented care, silo operations, and low productivity in THKMC’s home care services necessitated intervention to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Methods
Standardized communication platforms, cross-training staff, ERP system implementation, workflow redesign, body cameras, and performance tracking.
Results
Staff cross-trained: 81% (2+ services), productivity increased by 18.2%, client satisfaction improved to 80%. Significant cost efficiencies achieved.
Conclusion
Workforce and technology enhancements have improved productivity, client satisfaction, and cost sustainability in THKMC’s home care programs.
Lessons Learnt
Workforce transformation drove collaboration, improved efficiency, and enhanced outcomes for clients, staff performance, and talent management.
