Aims
Reduce falls and near misses at Clinic F Evaluation Room.
Background
Between 2019-2020, there were falls and near misses due to congested evaluation room setup at Clinic F.
Methods
Adopted Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) framework. Reconfigured room setup to optimize space for patient flow and safety.
Results
No falls or near misses post-reconfiguration. Improved patient safety and staff satisfaction (100%).
Conclusion
Enhanced room safety and patient experience through strategic redesign, optimizing space for staff and patient movement.
Lessons Learnt
Revamping room setup using PDCA increased space, ensuring safe navigation for patients on wheelchairs or mobility aids.
