Fast Track Referral cases required retrieving physical letters, which was time-consuming and posed PDPA risks.
Methods
Introduced point-of-care scanning, storing referral letters in the EPIC media manager, and shredding physical documents.
Results
Eliminated retrieval needs; improved patient consultation efficiency and data security; reduced PDPA risks.
Conclusion
Point-of-care scanning streamlined workflows, eliminating inefficiencies and compliance risks.
Lessons Learnt
Paperless systems improve productivity, patient safety, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
