Aims
Combine PROMs with clinical indicators to improve TKR patient outcomes and support value-based care research.
Background
PROMs are essential for evaluating TKR effectiveness from the patient's perspective, guiding care improvements.
Methods
Developed a dedicated care coordinator team, implemented PROMs methodology, and integrated data into NGEMR.
Results
Significant improvements in pain, function, and physical domains observed at 6 months post-op; PROMs uptake and follow-up were high.
Conclusion
PROMs data collection enhances patient outcomes analysis, supporting evidence-based interventions and healthcare strategies.
Lessons Learnt
Continued long-term follow-up is vital for sustainable improvements and identifying critical care interventions.
