Manual medical report applications required significant staff effort, causing delays and inefficiencies.
Methods
Used value stream mapping to identify inefficiencies, collaborated with IHIS, and implemented online systems via HealthHub.
Results
Reduced duplication of work, streamlined consent-taking with SingPass, and eliminated manual registration steps.
Conclusion
Online system improved efficiency, reduced errors, and enhanced patient satisfaction.
Lessons Learnt
Change management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation are critical for digital transformation projects.
Additional Information
Successfully scaled to include other requests like lab results and discharge summaries.
