Aims
Raise awareness of neurological conditions and their preventive care through interactive, community-focused outreach.
Background
Increased prevalence of dementia, stroke, and neurological conditions in Singapore's aging population necessitated proactive outreach.
Methods
Carnival-style roadshow with information booths, public talks, screenings, and mass exercise sessions.
Results
Engaged 266 participants in dementia and Parkinson’s disease screenings, with broad media coverage and inspired future collaborations.
Conclusion
Strengthened community partnerships and enhanced public understanding of neurological care.
Lessons Learnt
Multichannel outreach and participatory activities ensure better awareness and community action.
