Aims
Seamlessly introduce the organization to new hires via a virtual, interactive e-Orientation programme.
Background
Physical orientation was ineffective for dispersed employees across 55 sites.
Methods
Redesigned to a virtual format with interactive videos and quizzes; content regularly reviewed for relevance.
Results
175 employees completed e-Orientation in FY20; 73% within 2 weeks, 37% within 1 day; received an average rating of 8/10.
Conclusion
Positive feedback validated the approach; e-Orientation became the standard for welcoming new employees.
Lessons Learnt
Virtual onboarding must balance accessibility, engagement, and ongoing support for employees.
