Aims

Background
MSWs spent excessive time documenting MDM notes, hindering patient care and increasing staff workload.
Methods
Created and piloted a revised MDM note template that pulls data from MSW flowsheets, reducing documentation time.
Results
Reduced documentation time from 82 minutes to 12.5 minutes per week.
Conclusion
Standardizing documentation processes significantly enhanced efficiency and was adopted across all wards at JCH.
Lessons Learnt
Innovation and leveraging existing NGEMR functionality was key to improving efficiency.
