Uncoordinated inter-professional education limited medical students' understanding of AHP roles and inter-professional collaboration.
Methods
Structured job shadowing program for Year 3 medical students in orthopaedic posting; included observation, interviews, and quizzes.
Results
94% of participants found the program effective; reflection journals and quizzes increased awareness and knowledge.
Conclusion
Inter-professional education programs benefit medical students and healthcare teams.
Lessons Learnt
Structured programs with diverse learning activities foster understanding and positive attitudes towards collaboration.
