Aims
Evaluate feasibility of group therapy as a service delivery model alongside individual therapy.
Background
No group therapy services were available at JCH/NTFGH, limiting functional communication practice.
Methods
Established group therapy workflow, conducted 16 sessions, and gathered patient/ST feedback.
Results
91% of patients preferred group therapy or had no preference; 83% of sessions met therapy objectives.
Conclusion
Group therapy is feasible and will complement individual therapy at JCH.
Lessons Learnt
Group therapy provided functional practice, improved participation, and optimized resource utilization.
