Background
Uptake of telehealth was slow, averaging only 2.9% due to administrative workload, lack of training, and awareness.
Methods
Streamlined workflows using paper slips, trained dietitians, and engaged patients for telehealth follow-ups.
Results
Actualized telehealth appointments exceeded the goal, reaching 13% by June 2021.
Conclusion
Telehealth implementation improved access and convenience for vulnerable populations.
Lessons Learnt
Strong intra-department collaboration and iterative interventions were key to success.
