Aims
To streamline the caregiver nomination workflow and empower caregivers (CGs) for efficient self-nomination.
Background
Manual processes for CG nomination were tedious and consumed significant nurse time, affecting care delivery.
Methods
Introduced QR code-linked electronic forms and standardized workflow for better efficiency and reduced dependency on hardcopy forms.
Results
Reduced nurse involvement from 2 hours 10 minutes to 1 hour 23 minutes daily during hybrid trials; achieved a 4.4/5 satisfaction score from CGs.
Conclusion
The electronic nomination system enhanced operational efficiency, saving time and improving CG satisfaction.
Lessons Learnt
Standardized workflows and digital tools lead to time savings and better user experiences.
