Background
Untidy and inconsistent labels increased the risk of errors and inefficiencies.
Methods
Pre-implementation survey, pilot in Wards 42 & 71, standardized labels, and post-implementation review.
Results
Untidy/missing labels reduced (bed labels: 5.5→0; med labels: 6.3→0.8); staff satisfaction improved.
Conclusion
Bed and medication cart label standardization enhanced safety, tidiness, and job satisfaction.
Lessons Learnt
Standardized labels improved organization, reduced errors, and ensured easy medication retrieval.
