About this Content
Aims
Improve self-perceived confidence and preparedness of new Clinical Educators (CEs) by 20%.
Background
New CEs lacked standardized training/support systems, leading to variability in supervision delivery and self-confidence.
Methods
Introduced tailored workshops with evidence-based teaching models, role-play, and case discussions.
Results
Self-perception improved: Confidence (from 2.5 to 3.5), Preparedness (from 2.25 to 3.5); standard deviation halved.
Conclusion
Evidence-based tools significantly improved CE preparation and learning outcomes for trainees.
Lessons Learnt
Regular feedback and tailored training enhance confidence and preparedness for new CEs.
