Aims
Increase completion rate of MRI sedation scans from 60% to 100% by June 2023.
Background
MRI sedation procedures were often delayed due to unavailability of doctors, affecting patient care and MRI slot utilization.
Methods
Implemented a more efficient workflow ensuring doctor availability and training for staff to ensure the smooth performance of MRI sedation.
Results
Increased MRI sedation completion rate to 100%, reducing the number of cancellations.
Conclusion
The project resulted in improved patient care and operational efficiency with increased MRI sedation completion rates.
Lessons Learnt
Standardizing workflows and ensuring timely availability of resources are key to improving operational efficiency.
