Background
Delays in project implementation caused by infection control guidelines negatively impacted the well-being of nursing home residents.
Methods
Implemented PCC-centered activities tailored to residents' interests, virtual competitions, and collaboration among four centers to promote engagement.
Results
Residents displayed positive emotions in 80% of sessions; satisfaction and fulfillment were evident.
Conclusion
PCC approaches significantly enhance residents' emotional well-being and satisfaction in social leisure activities.
Lessons Learnt
Effective collaboration and adaptability are crucial for implementing impactful social activities in nursing homes.
