Social isolation worsened elderly health during COVID-19; the team sought tech-enabled interventions.
Methods
Four-pronged approach: increased surveillance, workflow redesign, Google Glass adoption, and virtual cognitive activities.
Results
Service capacity increased from 380 to 500 patients; satisfaction improved significantly post-intervention.
Conclusion
Seamless, tech-driven care improved health outcomes and expanded capacity amid workforce challenges.
Lessons Learnt
Increased monitoring, teleconsultations, and tech solutions allowed for early intervention and enhanced care.
