Inconsistent terms and practices across institutions caused parity issues and additional work for HR staff.
Methods
Formed workgroups with HR representatives, used fishbone diagrams to identify harmonisation areas, and implemented standardised practices.
Results
Improved staff morale, 4,729 man-hour savings, and consistent practices across institutions.
Conclusion
Strengthened the 'One SingHealth' culture and streamlined scholarship/sponsorship management.
Lessons Learnt
Harmonisation eliminates parity issues and improves productivity by standardising processes.
