Aims
Foster collaboration between primary care professionals and non-healthcare partners to create innovative solutions for family and community clinical issues.
Background
Addressing complex healthcare challenges requires interdisciplinary collaboration and creative problem-solving.
Methods
Organised inaugural hackathon with 9 teams (80 participants) from 7 institutions; included briefings, team presentations, and judging.
Results
Successful proposals were selected for refinement and funding. Positive participant feedback emphasized the value of cross-disciplinary engagement.
Conclusion
FMHIH demonstrated strong potential to generate actionable ideas and strengthen cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Lessons Learnt
Collaborative platforms like hackathons encourage innovative solutions and bridge healthcare with other disciplines.
