Aims
To evaluate the impact of human-centric lighting on nurses’ reported sleep quality and fatigue.

Human-centric lighting potentially improves work efficiency and reduces errors, benefiting nurses and patients.
Methods
Evaluation study with intervention and control wards, using PSQI and FFS scales at three timepoints.
Results
No statistically significant differences in sleep quality or fatigue were found between intervention and control groups.
Conclusion
Infrastructure changes like human-centric lighting require complementary strategies to improve nurses’ well-being.
Lessons Learnt
Human-centric lighting alone may not significantly mitigate shift work's negative effects on nurses.
