Translators were often unavailable, leading to inefficiencies and miscommunication in caregiver training.
Methods
Introduced videos in native languages and developed a standardized written quiz to assess understanding.
Results
Improved quiz accuracy by 14.3% (Malay helpers) and 3.1% (Burmese helpers); reduced reliance on translators by 50%.
Conclusion
Improved understanding of caregiver training through video interventions reduced reliance on translators.
Lessons Learnt
Larger sample sizes and alternative delivery methods for quizzes are necessary for robust findings.
