Aims
To enhance the review and escalation process for SGH’s Conflict of Interest Declaration to ensure a close loop.
Background
Existing processes allowed only one level of approver, limiting oversight and appropriate action on conflicts.
Methods
Enhanced review process included Division Heads and SGH Employee Review Council, with mitigation measures and feedback loops.
Results
Improved awareness among leaders and staff, safeguarding SGH’s integrity. Compliance and mitigation measures were successfully implemented.
Conclusion
Enhanced processes ensure policy compliance and strengthen SGH’s reputation and staff accountability.
Lessons Learnt
Clear escalation and guidance processes improve compliance and safeguard organizational interests.
